Lunatic vibes

I am a self made man, waiting for the opportunities,
I do not care what you assume, you can call me opportunist
I do not follow the rules but make the rules
As I am a self made man

Emotions elude me distract me
I am not a revolutionary nor an illusionist
I do not thrive on religion, race caste or creed
I am a simple human with complex issues
As I am a self made man

I hate being typecast
Coz I am not an issue
Nor I am downtrodden
I am a free will person
As u all know
I am a self made man

Borders do not mean anything to me
Coz It does not exist for me
I am neither insane nor translucent
I am the eternal and the supernatural
I am a self made man……
Coz i am me....

" The great Indian armpit revolution"

The idea struck me hard last week.. wow a great concept to write about. You know commuting in private transport, especially in the summers is a hell of a journey. You seem to get ensconced by the fact that you too are part of the great Indian republic.

The story starts: On my way back to my humble room, i have to take the Mudrika service( Azadpur- Satyaniketan).. a distance of 20 kms. shit.. just 20 kms . Yes buddy a mere twenty kilometers.. while travelling by bus.. you don't generally have access to air conditioners.. instead your beloved nose will be taken over by the unbearable stench of the Indian armpit. Loads of armpit.. you name it.. they have it.. Muslim armpit, armpit of boys and gals... Hindu armpit.. Sikh armpit.. all of them celebrating the democratic power entitled .. all the smells forging alliances to thwart off the threat perception created by Deodorants.. U huu.. sucks man...

But this is life and you have to survive the harsh conditions. Of course, there are ways and you have to constantly innovate and try out new ideas to get rid of the overbearing stench. You have ti time your movements depending on the rush hour. It took me months to figure out the technique. This is how it works.

I try to start early morning. Generally, it is fresh in the morning and you have the time to think to put your things in to perspective. Once you reach office, you can start your work, which is empty and quite. This way, you will be able to save time and can leave the workplace early. Rush hour traffic usually starts after 5pm and by that time i reach my room. Even then, there are times when you have to undergo the assualt of the great indian armpit, but that will only help to keep you grounded.

AAbeeRs world

Welcome .... to my world..

Contrary to my expectations, i have survived too long..nope.. dont even think that i am going to die. Its a catcha phraSE to have your attention my dear friends.. The reason being Ranjan is a very tedious affair...You cannot be a ranjan without rashmi.. thats right... it is my first name .. middle name being Ranjan and surname being Saikia.. just 3 words to describe me as a whole.. Hahaha..

In a recent story.. one Supratim Dutta survived from a fatal accident.. a 6 kg iron angle passed through his body damaging 7 vital organs and leaving the hear by a whisker... Phew a great escape.. great supratim.. i salute you and your luck.. and from next time onwards.. always take the back seat.

On a sad note.. one of my dear freind Aroop has again failed to clear the Common Proficiency Test(CPT).. i think he needs to put in more effort and a bit of discipline..

PP for pran protim has acquired the dangerous virus...kp4 variant.( LOVEmania).. a highly contagious disease.. and i am seeing the effects on Guni too..

Saurav on the other hand is on a leave for 2 days.. he too needs some rest.. as he has to take a lot of undue stress..after all commuting in a CNG auto is a very tiring task..

Junior aka phatee.. will be reaching delhi after 2 months of vacation on 26 th july...
Any news other than that? Really i am getting bored with this life.. may be some divine intervention..

Just for some more good new.. wait for the next episode of Ranjans world..

" Out Bound to Delhi"

It was a conscious decision on my part to shift to Delhi. On that fateful night, when Pa asked"what are your plans for the future"? I knew the time had come to do something constructive rather than fooling around. Speaking the truth, I was going through a very bad phase. My on and off relation with my girl friend, no job and most importantly no money , pressure from my parents were taking a hard toll on me. I asked pa to give me some time to think over it. I was staying away from my home with two of my hostel mates in a rented apartment in Guwahati. Plainly speaking , the city was killing me from inside. I was trying to run away from my own self. The next day arrived and i told Pa who was staying on my apartment, as he was in the city for an official visit, that I will go to Delhi. I don't know what compelled me, but i had to do. I told my girl friend about it and she started crying. We met for a brief period. Really I was happy from the fact that I could inflict some kind of pain in her heart. The anguish in me seemed to be mellowed after that incident . I don't have any qualms to say that my girl friend was the biggest mistake of my life.

Of course, we did had a nasty break up. It was worse as it broke my confidence and completely shattered my ego. Even then, we used to talk sometimes twice in a week or thrice in a phone over the phone. It is hard to relive the moments, but destiny had something else for me. As of now, she is married and staying with her husband, leading a happy and blissful life.

Immediately after that, I left Guwahati for good. All my friends never came to know that I had left the city which I think had given me the best of my life, some of the best friends ,besides making me the man now I am.

Sometime in the middle of october'05 , I packed my bag and baggage and took the Bramhaputra Mail Bound to New delhi..
